We cannot earn eternal life through our own efforts. It's a gift, freely given, because of God's great love for us. All we need to do is believe—to trust in Jesus and what He's done for us.
This promise changes how we see our current struggles and our hopes for the future. It gives us comfort when we're sad, strength when we're weak, and joy in all situations.
Today, let's think about how big this promise is. How does knowing you have eternal life change how you see your daily life? Your relationships? The things that are important to you?
May the promise of eternal life give you hope and purpose, today and always.
