39. Musical Monarch



Did you know? 🤔 King David, famous for slaying Goliath and ruling Israel, was also a prolific musician and poet. Traditionally credited with writing many of the Psalms, he's referred to in 2 Samuel 23:1 as "the sweet psalmist of Israel." The Bible also mentions David playing the lyre to soothe King Saul's troubled spirit (1 Samuel 16:23).
